Magpie Lithograph in Production

Many thanks to master printer Linsay Croall at Peacock Visual Arts in Aberdeen for these images of my work in progress. The yet to be titled Magpie lithograph went in to production this week and is being editioned by Linsay. The work will be an edition of 24 and will hopefully be completed in time to be launched at the Black and White Show at the Peacock Visual Arts Gallery space alongside a couple of older works of mine. The exhibition opens on the 9th September and runs until the 22nd October 2011.

  1. Hi, I know this post is older, but I should tell you something.
I'm a girl from Spain, so my english's too bad, i'm sorry about that.

I just search magpie arts, trying to find ideas. I want a tattoo of a magpie, which is the symbol of my family.

Just tell you I love your picture and probably I use it, and I'll tattoo it.
If you aren't agree, I'll want to know it... But probably I'll use it freely anyway.

Thank U very much. I take a look on your web and your work is so cool.

    Bye!

    1. Dear Antia,

Thanks for your kind words, I am please you like my imagery. The magpie is an important symbol in my work and it often pops up in my practice. Yes please use for a tattoo, I would be honoured. Please send me an image of the finished ink though. I look forward to seeing the results. Good luck.

      Best wishes,

      Adam
